The Definitive Digital Art & Web3 Festival

Mirrored Madness was made with Danish sound artist SØS Gunver Ryberg, who premiered her Live AV ''Weaving Fields'' this past weekend at Lunchmeat Festival in Prague
The public screening runs from October 2 to Sunday October 8, so friends in Tokyo, enjoy.

I did an interview with real-time graphics software Notch which details some of the process of making the video for the track XINRI D by Yaporigami. Read it to get an idea of how I have been working with Notch. The video is also included in the interview.

Patrick Doan creates an out of this world music video for Yaporigami’s (Detroit Underground, BRDG Tokyo) new track XINRI D. Using Notch, Patrick created a living breathing organism that may take over the world with its explosive audio-reactivity.

I’ve organised a new club night in Berlin with focus on LIVE AV featuring deconstructed rave by ISOLAT PATTERN (Kvitnu, The Collection Artaud), raw and industrial modular techno by JESSICA KERT (Detroit Underground) and MIQUEL DANGLA, industrial electronic body music with SQUARIC (Diffuse Reality Records), a new breakcore inflected project by sculptural glitchnoise techno producer YAPORIGAMI (Mille Plateaux, BRDG Tokyo, Detroit Underground). Visuals by R0D1AN L1NK and DEFASTEN.

I’m incredibly proud to announce that the short film I worked on titled THREE THOUSAND is in Official Selection at the 68th edition of the Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival starting next week. I had the good fortune to work closely with the director, the Inuit artist and filmmaker Asinnajaq on location at the Montreal offices of The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) and remotely here in Berlin. The short film will feature in the programme NATIVe - Indigenous Cinema.

THREE THOUSAND examines the past, present and future of Inuit identity. Asinnajaq explores her heritage, at the same time plunging into a sublime imaginary universe. I created digital imagery which begins the narrative through a distant, primordial past, propelling itself towards a potential future where Inuit society has expanded its architectural and cultural landscape, carrying forward its societal traditions that continue to flow through the ages.
The Berlinale itself needs no introduction. Along with the Festival de Cannes, it stands to be one of the leading festivals for film premieres, the European Film Market and related media events.
